Whitney Houston 1963-2012.

RIP Whitney, your voice will be missed. “How Will I Know?” is my favorite of her songs. Enjoy the video.

I looked all over You Tube for the actual ending scene from Star Wars and couldn’t find it. Instead, here is the music, known to most as “Throne Room and End Title” but known to me as the most badass piece of movie music ever.

And how could I post John Williams videos without including the Raiders March?

Another favorite of mine. The gorgeous, inspiring theme from “Superman.”

John Williams is my favorite movie composer which is no surprise to any of you who actually know me. His attention to detail, to truly capturing the story with his music is what first caught my attention. Who can see a shark, any shark, and not immediately think of those first few chords of the “Jaws” theme? Who hasn’t wanted to have the Indiana Jones theme playing in the background as they do something extraordinary? Or have the throne room music from “Star Wars” as the recessional for their wedding? Okay so that last one is probably just me. Be that as it may, Williams’ movie music is some of the best out there, always has been always will be. Happy  80th Birthday Mr. Williams, may you be making music for many years to come.

Josh Kelley’s music video for his song “Naleigh Moon.” A beautiful tribute to his daughter. So sweet!

RIP Etta James. Your voice will be missed.
